Advanced Christmas!

Advanced Merry Christmas everybody!

As you can see, I am addicted to the Pic Collage application on Iphone and it's so much more convenient to upload one photo (with many photos in it) than to upload tons of photos individually. Save so much time.

So December is here and it's the month of Christmas!

Presents, food and laughters :D Ooo, I am looking forward to it already!

I have so many things that I want to do and am inspired to work hard on. Let me just share my thoughts with you guys...

1) I am inspired to improve on my flexibility and dance well

2) I am planning to teach piano when i graduate to pass on my knowledge to kids as well as to earn some money

3) I want to improve on my photography skills and not leave my DSLR one side. Hence, I have scheduled a photography outing with Avelyn to the Botanic Gardens :)

4) I want to travel around the world, snapping photos and taking in all the wonderful sceneries. That would be awesome. *_*

Yeaps, that's all for now. I really want to accomplish all that I have stated!!!!! And i know it will come true!!!!

Family

They are the most important people in my whole life. My family.

I thank god for giving me the best parents, the best cousins, the best aunties and the best uncles i could ever ask for. We are such a close knit family that gatherings would be at least once a week. They are the people who have supported me through the rough times and reassured me that all will be fine. Thank you all for being there and I am sure we will stay united as one up till the day when our heads our filled with white hair.

On a side note, I am planning to post a photo everyday. Even though the photo might be insignificant or MEH but I am still gonna do that. So watch this space :)

P.S Oh man, it's only 10.32AM.. Ive been doing random stuffs that felt like ages but only an hour and a half have passed and another hour and a half till lunch. Oh my poor tummy :( Gonna catch up on my Amazing Race to while away the time.

Just came back from Mnet awards and I would say it was truly an experience. Why? Because it was my first time going to a concert ALONE, and I will
never wanna go to one alone anymore.

It's so sad to have no one to talk to or hyperventilate with :(

About the awards ceremony, like I said before I'm not a huge ass k-pop fan. Wait, I'm not even a k-pop fan, I'm only a big bang fan. I only listen to their music and can't be bothered with the others. So, I didn't really enjoy myself there and my aching legs didn't help as well.

Honestly, just a year ago, I would diss people who listen to k-pop music. I take back my mean words because everyone should be allowed to listen whatever they want to.

Welcome to another chapter of Jul's story..

This is the group of guitarists when we went for Singapore Symphony Orchestra open rehearsal.

I still miss band a lot, and typing about band makes me sad because Mr Lim, the brilliant conductor who brought our band up from a bronze standard to a GOLD standard, left us yesterday. Though I am no longer in Hougang Wind Symphony anymore, my batch mates and I had been through so much under Mr Lim.

We were reprimanded countless times, we were being compared to the other schools (which made us motivated to play harder), we had tetra IV (where bonds were forged and until now, I still have fond memories of that camp. and that horrible solo of mine grr), Mr Lim's WAKE UP, SYF 2007 where we will have night practices *sniff*

Band days were truly one of my happiest times. I made the best of friends and although there were really really really sucky times for me, I do not regret being a part of HS wind symphony :)

Moving on...

The recent sat (26th Nov 2011), we celebrated Tricia's 14th advanced birthday! So, while I was roaming around the house, guess what I found!

Neoprints of me and my cousins! When we were god knows how old. Neoprints were the trend back in 2005/2006 and I clearly remember taking at least once per week :O Think of how much I could have saved!!!! $_$

Went to Grandma's (a restaurant at Nex) with Rochelle, my friend of almost 10 years. This outing took years to plan and we finally managed to meet up, ALTHOUGH she was just staying two floors down.
The rare days when I leave my house without eyeliner. Ever since internship started, I have to leave my house with eyeliner if not I feel bare. Sigh, I am becoming so vain.

Anyway, I have news to share! This morning, my senior colleague suddenly came to me asking me if I wanted to watch the Mnet Awards and that she wanted to give me a free ticket. Of course i said yes, without the thought of going alone... and now, I have the ticket in my hand and am going alone. How sad yar, but I am still going to get the feel of it and hopefully hopefully, see BIG BANG!!!! Please let me see all 5 of them on stage <3 But, I'm going to reach there around 7pm and 1) I would either be all the way back or 2) I would have missed Big Bang's performance :(

I should more than happy to receive the free ticket, but it sucks to go alone!!!!! No one to high with :( Ok, shall just enjoy myself later on and pray that I reach home alive.

Relieved band memories at the Singapore Symphony Orchestra open rehearsal. I really miss going to such concerts, just appreciating classical music. The last I remember, whenever I went for such concerts, I would either end up sleeping or get bored out of my wits because such concerts were so frequent during my band days.

But now, it's just so rare. I just wished I wasn't at the open rehearsal but at the concert so that I can listen to the whole piece without stops because it's so beautiful.

So basically im pretty excited for my upcoming events!

Tmr, I'm going to Strictly Pancakes with Rochelle for dinner.

She is my friend for about 10 years now and well, although we hardly meet up or have phone calls, whenever we meet it's as though we meet every single day and chat without awkwardness at all. (That was what she wrote in my birthday card too)

And after that, I might be going to Zirca for the 8 days shirtless guys event (prays hard momma lets me but I hardly doubt so :() But, i shall keep praying.... cause it's free and there's hot bods for everyone to see!

And next week, there's gonna be a band BBQ. So, during my work, I was watching old band videos, missing the times with everyone and hola, an event for a band gathering was created!

Woo, time to catch up eh?

SIDETRACK: Im at munch just chilling and there's this three dude figuring out the score and melody for haru haru. I have the score on my laptop and i have this urge to share it with them or even play for them lol)
