Chinese Garden

As i said earlier on, today is a typical boring day at Mediacorp. So.. I opened random folders on my desktop and looked through all the photos in my iPhoto, as i reminisce about the good ol' times.

Then, I came across my folder that has tons of photos shot when i was out for my

photo essay assignment, which inspired this post. I was the photographer, Avelyn was the writer

and I swear that was one of the hardest assignment to accomplish ever.

With no photography skills prior to the shoot, the DSLR was my worst nightmare.

Coupled with the lack of time and a heavy rain, my initial shots were horrible.

Boring shots with no angle, we were not happy with that.

However, we stayed positive and made a second trip back. Despite arguing over the most

trivial things, things turned out well.

Some were used for our assignment and there are more shots that are not up here cause they are in my hard disk. We wrote about how Chinese Garden is more than just a tourist spot and

they are many activities that one can do throughout the entire day.

This assignment is 1% words and 99% of sweat, blood and tears. We stayed till late surviving on a bowl of shrimp wanton, which was simply not enough for our poor stomach. We had to stomach rejections from passers-by and I had many many many many many many many failed shots. But.... there is of course a happy ending. After the bad, comes the good right? *winks*

Our marker was apparently very pleased with what we had done and we managed to obtain an A+! How fulfiling.
